Fresh Starts You can
take the restaurant out of a city, but you can't take the city
out of the restaurant. That's why the stylish decor and
sophisticated cooking seem to say at Fresh Starts, a south
suburban hot spot with roots on the North Side of Chicago. The
menu starts with such temptations as cumin-seared shrimp and
homemade tomato ravioli filled with herb-flecked lobster; the
pleasures continue with an irresistible dry-aged New York strip
steak and, if you're lucky, a special salmon au poivre. Pumpkin
tart with cinnamon pecans highlights an extensive, affordable
